Archaegenetics in Croatia and origin of Croats

This article will include a collection and analysis of archaeogenetic samples from Croatia. The first version will be published soon and is under construction until the removal of this notice. For now, please check the "Ancient and medieval archaeogenetics and origin of Croats in the case of Velim, Croatia" (PDF file at Academia.edu), which is an analysis of the ancient and medieval archaeogenetics of the archaeological site of Velim in Croatia and the related origin of the Croats (per Gretzinger et al. 2025 and previously published scientific papers), and "Ancient DNA database from Croatia" (Excel file at Academia.edu).

First will be the list of all archaeogenetic samples with related data (ID, location, time period, mtDNA and Y-DNA haplogroup), with an abstract of observed data, and finally sections dealing with the medieval ancestry and its relation to the modern Croats.
